Our Wet Scrubber for Odor Control is an advanced air pollution control device engineered specifically for fishmeal factories, BSFL insect protein facilities, and animal rendering plants. By capturing and neutralizing toxic emissions, ammonia, and acidic gases, it maintains an odor-free production environment and ensures strict compliance with international emission standards.

Working Principle & Structure

Contaminated exhaust air enters counter-currently through the lower gas inlet and rises through the packed scrubbing bed. Specialized liquid spray distributors continuously irrigate the high-surface-area packing media with circulating water or chemical wash solutions (acidic, alkaline, or oxidizing reagents).

As the gas stream passes through the wetted packing media, odorous compounds and particulates dissolve and are chemically neutralized. The scrubbed gas then flows through an integrated high-efficiency demister layer to strip out moisture droplets before clean air is discharged into the atmosphere.

Counter-current scrubbing liquid (water, dilute acid for NH3, or alkaline/hypochlorite for H2S and organic sulfides) contacts the high surface area packing media, dissolving and neutralizing pollutants before the gas is demisted and released.
